Working Arrangement: Hybrid (1-2 days in the office)
Workfusion is looking for a QA Automation Engineer or Architect to empower product development in Dublin. This will be a strategic role working with our current Automation Architect to build out new capabilities and frameworks. You will be responsible for test case design, best practices, and automation. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and ability to implement strategies that optimize the value of test automation across the entire team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective, efficient, and predictable QA services
- Test complex installation via WIX installer on diff Windows versions and roll-back, as well as test interaction of components after installation (databases, apps, proxies)
- Test complex docker installation on Linux environment
- Test Ansible playbooks (test specific component)
- Implement automation testing methodologies in order to reduce time to market within the CI/CD processes and SDLC of the product
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure team on the delivery of value according to the company's priorities
- Lead the team in test design and automation best practices to ensure quality in both the product and test code
- Create and optimize test documentation
Qualifications/Experience
- 4+ years of experience in automation with Java
- You will have experience with native Windows testing with installers, docker, ansible. The installer or native application experience is more important than having experience using RPA.
- 1+ year experience in Installation Testing/Integration Testing/Configuration Testing/Standalone testing
- Practical knowledge of Windows/Docker/Linux/VirtualBox/Vagrant/Ansible
- Familiarity with programming languages (Java/Groovy), as well as Selenium Web Driver/AutoIt; databases: PostgreSQL/MySQL/Mongo
- Good understanding of test design techniques and automation best practices
- Experience in writing tests for different levels of unit/integration/API/Acceptance/End-to-End
- Acquaintance with developer console in a browser
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- C/C#/C++ experience is a plus, but not needed

- Experience in security and usability testing of web-applications/desktop applications
- Familiarity with web applications testing tools
- Proficiency in non-functional testing (load, performance, fail over, chaos)
