WorkFusion has an opening for a Technical Writer position in Minsk. As a Technical Writer, you are curious, organized, willing to work shoulder to shoulder with software engineers and collaborate well with other cross-functional roles in the organization. You will write and update various types of WorkFusion documentation, such as user guides, API references, release notes, etc.
Key responsibilities
●        Work in an Agile development environment to document new product features.
●        Develop and produce content in a code-y way, managing your content source in Markdown and Git.
●        Enhance existing documentation by improving content usability, adding examples and tutorials, and incorporating feedback from users.
●        Review and edit documentation written by developers to ensure consistency of language and style.
●        Work closely with fellow doc writers to improve documentation standards and processes.
●        3+ years in a role that included writing for developers, business users, and admins. A portfolio is very welcomed (texts and graphics, videos, if available).
●        Familiarity with technical writing standards like Google Developer Documentation Style Guide, Microsoft Manual of Style, or similar.
●        Experience in authoring content in a lightweight markup language such as Markdown, reStructuredText, etc., or at least a strong will to learn new things.
●        Basic knowledge of Git.
●        Understanding of software development tools and practices. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you’ll need to have a feel for how different teams build software.
●        Level of English that is sufficient for writing technical documentation. Fluent speech is a huge advantage.
