Director, Inside Sales at Ritual

The Inside Sales team is responsible for the selling and on-boarding of new merchant partners, increasing both profit and volume for the assigned market. This role is charged with ensuring that the team achieves sales targets (weekly/monthly KPIs) and for identifying new opportunities to improve overall team effectiveness. To be successful in this role you’ll need to be a hustler, take ownership of Ritual’s growth and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Due to the high volume of merchant relationships managed by the Inside Sales team, there is a focus on evaluating processes, identifying efficiencies, proposing modifications, testing scripts, and communicating findings across the company, all of which are vital to scaling the sales approach. You are a charismatic people person who can talk to anyone; you’re flexible, fearless, and excited to help build something awesome and share it with the world.

As a Director, Inside Sales at Ritual you will…

  • Create, manage and develop a high performing team through hiring, coaching and training
  • Leverage Salesforce acumen to track key metrics and funnels and ensure that the team is operating at a high level
  • Optimize processes for the team to assist them to move faster, prioritize effectively and deliver KPIs more efficiently
  • Test and implement new playbooks in order to improve sales efficacy across the company

We’re looking for a Director, Inside Sales that has…

  • Deep familiarity with inside sales processes and compensation models
  • Proven success selling over the phone in the past (grown through an inside sales process)
  • Proven track record of managing young/high volume transactional sales teams and hitting targets
  • Ability to make hard calls with managing performance
  • Experience selling products that have a fast sales cycle 
  • Been successful without many layers of sales managers or team leads - someone who can lead a team and get them highly functioning with the support of sales ops, one manager and enablement
