Sales Operations Leader at HealthTap

The Sales Operations Leader will lead in the development of a best-in-class business development organization while building a scalable sales operation. This individual must be a creative, hands-on leader with proven track record and a legacy of driving sales over-achievement. This individual will work collaboratively with the business development leadership team and with other internal functional organizations to coordinate all sales activities and programs necessary to drive a synergistic, high-performing, team-oriented, ethical culture.

 

In collaboration with business development, develops and drives the weekly sales forecast process.  Maintains strong relationships with field management to ensure timely, accurate, and prompt sales forecasts. Uses knowledge of company products, services, support and technology to drive the business development operations activities that achieve company goals.  Organizes market analysis where appropriate to support the sales planning cycle.   Interacts closely with the President, senior finance leadership and other senior management to set company policy regarding sales operations. Together with Finance and HR, manages and is involved with designing the company's commission incentive plans. Establishes quotas that support the financial plans of the business.  

 

 

Principal duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Works with executive and cross-functional leadership to establish sales goals to support and meet the company’s sales, revenue and strategic growth goals.
  • In conjunction with business development leadership, develops, aligns and implements regional and/or territory assignments and sales plans and deploys quotas.
  • Ensures that a robust management operating system exists, including key business metrics and trends that support the business unit decision-making process.
  • Maintains an effective communications plan addressing internal and external communications, product roll-outs, training & readiness, and conferences and events.
  • Facilitates the launch of new products and initiatives by liaising closely with other functional organizations such as product and technology, marketing, customer support, human resources (HR), training and finance.
  • Primary administrator of all sales support systems; drives implementation and adoption of a CRM system and reporting systems.
  • Drive Sales Process/Methodology improvements.
  • Facilitates the design and implementation of the company’s incentive plans.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

 

 

Required:

 

  • 5 years of experience in SaaS or PaaS technical sales, pre-sales or product management
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related software engineering field or equivalent experience
  • Strong Mobile background
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Experience working with Large Health Systems and/or Payors
  • Experience with disruptive technology in the Enterprise or in Healthcare
  • Confident presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
