Partnerships and Business Development Manager (Germany) at What3Words

We’re looking for a bright and energetic person to join our team in Berlin and be part of the expansion of what3words internationally.


We are more interested in your skills than specific industry experience, and welcome ambitious recent graduates wanting to begin or continue a career in entrepreneurship or business.


About the role


This role will be based in Berlin, and you will be part of a small team of 3-4 people. Joining our growing business development team, you will drive forward and forge key relationships for what3words in the country. You will be responsible for managing existing relationships and working with our local marketing manager to ensure our partners are using what3words to its full potential; you will also be responsible for finding more ways in which what3words can be adopted into the day-to-day lives of the German people, doing targeted outbound sales to build strategic relationships with local businesses and organisations.


You will have:


An incredibly sharp mind with the academic or work history to prove it

Impeccable spoken and written English and German

Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – and be comfortable working with people at all levels, from start-up developers to CXOs of major corporations

Experience of sales, marketing and/or account management


You will be:

Extra points if you


Have worked in a technology company and/or with code

Have experience working in sales/business development, or a clearly transferable skillset in partner development, marketing or account management

Have worked or studied abroad
