Director Analyst Relations at C3 IoT

Description
As a member of C3 IoT’s Marketing team, the Analyst Relations Director will represent C3 IoT to the industry analyst community. We are looking for a seasoned professional with enterprise software and industry analyst experience, who will deepen relationships with analysts and educate / inspire them about C3 IoT’s technology, key differentiators, customer use cases, go-to-market initiatives, and competitive positioning. This role will drive technology storytelling with the analyst community, including coverage/deliverables, briefings/inquiries, presentations, product demos, webinars, and events. Strong presentation, demo, client service, and writing skills are desired.

Responsibilities
Become a C3 IoT subject matter expert and storyteller
Drive relationship-building and engagement with industry analysts
Deliver persuasive presentations, including demos and customer case studies, and be the first line addressing technical Q&A
Coordinate with product team on demos/training, product updates, and customer deployment updates
Ingest analyst research, drive internal knowledge sharing, and incorporate analyst feedback and research findings into ongoing product marketing efforts (create feedback loop)
Manage social media activities with analysts
Drive analyst RFIs, surveys, etc. as part of analyst research agendas
Requirements:
To qualify for this position, an individual must possess a combination of experience and education that would likely produce the desired job outcomes. Specific requirements include:

Strong understanding of the enterprise software industry in general with a particular focus on big data, cloud computing, predictive analytics, AI, machine learning, and IoT
Superior verbal and written communication skills, ability to articulate key messages clearly and explain technical concepts using a range of communications vehicles
Existing relationships and experience working with target industry analysts a plus
Results oriented, committed to quality of product and service, with desire to raise the bar
Self motivated, with the innate drive to learn and pick up new challenges
Capable of working well independently and collaboratively
Miminum of a bachelor’s (BS/BA) degree
Ten years of experience in enterprise software marketing, product marketing, consulting, and/or analyst relations
