Head of Brand Marketing at Kabbage

Your mission:

Develop and lead the brand strategy for Kabbage to establish the company as a critical partner for small businesses and a leading innovator in the fintech industry. You will be responsible for how we tell our story across channels, and driving awareness and brand love in the market.

What you’ll do:

Lead brand positioning and establish guidelines for internal and external teams
Work closely with agencies and internal teams to develop integrated brand campaigns built on unique customer insights
Drive best in class creative across the marketing team
Manage media and talent for videos, podcasts, communities, radio and other brand channels
Build a social strategy and manage all social channels to tell our story and amplify key market moments
Identify clever ways to brand key aspects of our unique customer experience
Manage online reviews and reputation
Build, manage and develop a high performing team
The role requires someone who is scrappy, strategic, and has a strong drive for results. The role is responsible for positioning both for, our direct lending business and for our platform licensing business with banks.

In addition, you'll manage endorsement, co-marketing, and integrated marketing campaigns across all channels. Develop the approach to drive awareness and consideration across social media, video, local advertising, radio, podcasts, TV and outdoor. Leverage customer insights to develop winning campaigns that tell the Kabbage story in a breakthrough away. Drive all aspects of positioning, broadcast marketing, and brand development.

What we're looking for in you:

Deep expertise in brand strategy and positioning
Broad experience managing all aspects of social media and developing a strong social/online presence
Experience developing integrated campaigns across multiple channels including broadcast (podcasts, video, other offline channels)
Experience working closely with agencies on creative development
Excellent strategic positioning skills and ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way
Experience building and developing a team
Bachelor’s degree required
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in brand/social media marketing
