The Strategic Finance team at Clover is responsible for delivering short and long range financial planning, supporting strategic decision making with robust analysis and insight, providing finance support for each of the functional areas of Clover's business, managing investor relations, and working with the accounting and actuarial teams to build the financial infrastructure needed to support expansion and ensure controllership.

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to partner directly with our operations and technology teams. This is a unique opportunity to be part of Clover’s growth and expansion, working closely with our leadership team while driving strategic planning, operational execution and financial controllership. Our organization is at a key period of growth, requiring an analyst who will be able to identify and create the right reporting, build and automate processes to make them scale, and focus leadership on the most important insights and analytics.

As a Senior Financial Analyst you will:

Partner with Clover’s leadership to assess new opportunities and risks.
Lead and support strategic value-added analyses and develop key insights around core business metrics.
Drive the core financial processes including Annual Operating Plans and Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews for the Operations teams you support.
Analyze new business ideas, make analytical judgments, and provide data intensive analyses to drive meaningful change.
Work with Clover’s Business Analytics team to develop cost attribution methodologies based on various segmentation criteria.
Drive ad-hoc analysis related to vendor negotiations, strategic partnerships, and cost out initiatives.

You should get in touch if:

You have 4-6 years of finance experience with progressive advancement in responsibility.
You have a BA/BS in Finance, Math, Business, Accounting or another highly analytical field, and/or an MBA.
You have strong and persuasive oral/written communication skills.
You have a track record of using data to inform business decisions. You are knowledgeable of advanced financial modeling techniques, Excel, and SQL.
You have experience with Medicare - not required but a nice to have.
You have the demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and drive projects to completion.
