Clover is reinventing health insurance by working to keep people healthier instead of only showing up when they're sick.

Clover's first clinical service was sending a single type of clinician into a member's home to complete a single type of clinical encounter, just one time per year. Today, our field services operation has evolved to support the delivery of over a dozen visit types completed by over five types of clinicians (from Nurse Practitioners to Licensed Social Workers) on various frequencies (ranging from annual to weekly visits). We're looking for a senior operations manager who can transform and rapidly scale our operations to meet the growing clinical demands of our members.

Many of the core processes of a health insurance company haven't changed in decades. As an Operations Manager, you'll deconstruct them to find better, more efficient workflows. You'll conceptualize and drive execution of experiments across clinical service design, operational workflows, and logistics in a way that's iterative, data-driven, and with an eye towards technology-enabled scalability. The healthcare world is full of opaque vendors that increase data latency and constrain our ability to deliver value to our members. We're looking for someone who can learn, adapt, and roll with a quickly changing landscape and is obsessed with finding new ways to drive superior health outcomes.

As an Operations Manager for Clinical Field Services, you will:

Design and drive process and workflow implementation - both internally and with vendors - and own results.
Create and articulate a vision, solution, and corresponding project path when solving large, hairy, complex problems.
Be a people-oriented leader with a track record of mentoring others and building large scale teams.
Become an expert in your functional area and drive continuous improvements while enabling visibility into the quality of daily operations through strong reporting.
Build deep relationships with the cross-functional partners while aligning Clover's leadership team.

You should get in touch if:

You have 6+ years of prior experience working in a professional environment performing analytical and operational support within your team.
You have proven experience blending technology and operations with strong Excel or SQL skills.
You have a keen ability to scope and drive focused execution in a broad and complex environment.
You have strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
You have prior knowledge or experience building logistics-dependent operations (i.e. ride-sharing, delivery services, home care).
You have prior experience in health insurance; Medicare Advantage is a plus.
You have prior management and leadership experience.
You have at a minimum a BA/BS degree.
