Graphic Designer at BuildDirect

As a member of our Design team at BuildDirect, you work with a multidisciplinary group of bright and motivated people. You will work closely with other design team members, marketing, software developers and product managers to craft creative design solutions for our e-commerce site, seller portal, delivery portal, emails, social channels and advertising partners.

The ideal candidate has creative thinking, an eye for design, a strong proficiency with language, is confident and experienced, works well in a team, and gets excited about pushing design and marketing boundaries.

Examples of the experience and people we love here

Previous experience within a Graphic, Visual or Digital Design role(s).
An exceptional portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts and highly considered visual executions.
Strong communication, sharp eye for detail, design sensibilities and an understanding of how composition, information hierarchy, color theory and typography work together to drive home a message.
Experience designing for website graphics, presentation decks, digital marketing graphics (social media, gifs, infographics & display ads), email and a wide range of marketing and sales print collateral (brochures, banners, business cards, advertisements etc.)
You’ve collaborated with Design and Marketing Teams to create exciting concepts and iterate through to final designs.
Experience translating marketing strategies into powerful visual designs which align with brand.
Experience developing solid conceptual ideas and formats that achieve strategic business objectives.
Experience aligning with developers to ensure proper implementation of visual assets, whilst ensuring consistency of creative vision.
Experience ensuring consistency of brand and creative across all customer touch points.
You stay in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in visual design field.
Creativity flows through your veins, whether you are designing a report or producing a fully integrated digital campaign.
Experience producing video marketing promotions as well as branding/ identities would be a bonus.
