You will be responsible for leading Carrum Health’s provider relations function which includes building first of its kind bundled payments network and adding new service lines and procedures to our offering. This leadership role will build a winning go-to-market strategy for acquiring high-value provider partners and securing competitive bundled prices for the most prevalent and costly episodic procedures. You will cultivate relationships with Carrum’s provider partners, close new deals, identify and prioritize new procedures and take ownership of growth targets and results.

Your Impact:
 Design and execute Carrum’s go-to-market strategy to build the first of its kind bundled payment network
 Autonomously identify, engage, scope, and execute provider acquisition opportunities
 Institutionalize best practices and process improvements to decrease sales cycle time and cost to acquire new provider partners
 Develop an analytical approach to driving Carrum’s expansion plan into new service lines and procedures
Collaborate with the CEO to reflect the company’s vision for growth into an
actionable network and procedure expansion plan
 Establish mechanisms to effectively manage and report on the sales pipeline
and procedure expansion roadmap
 Provide substantial strategic leadership and guidance within the company
 Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure effective messaging of Carrum’s value
proposition, product features and partnership expectations to new providers
 Enjoy getting your hands dirty

You Will Be Successful If You Have:
 6+ years provider network development or contracting experience with 3+ years
in a management or formal leadership role at VP or Director level
 Extensive experience working with health systems, hospitals and physician groups
 Impeccable professionalism, presence and credibility in front of highly
distinguished and experienced hospital administrators and clinicians
 Demonstrated ability in developing and successfully implementing network
development or go-to-market strategy (e.g., market segmentation, sales process
and organization design, contract management)
 Expertise in all aspects of the provider contracting process including: performing
initial outreach, developing relationships, negotiating and closing contracts, and
managing ongoing relationships
 Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building
skills; able to engage with all levels of an organization

You Will Excel If You Have:
 M.D. or other clinical degree
 Experience working alongside and negotiating with healthcare providers in the
following roles: corporate strategy, payer contracting, business development or
physician leadership
 Deep knowledge of value-based care models and contracting; experience with
bundled payments is a plus
 Entrepreneurial vigor – you are highly motivated, bring structure to undefined
problems, identify sources of value in complex environments, and convey those
to diverse stakeholders in a simple and compelling way
