We are looking for a junior brand designer to join our creative team. You'll help us build and bring to life our new brand and identity. You’ll ideate, conceptualize, and produce compelling media (from print to billboard to digital) materials through elegant design and clear messaging. You’re a team player and feel comfortable working collaboratively across disciplines and maintaining a purposeful approach to production and execution. You're interested in changing the face and experience of a daunting, challenging industry. You're excited to bring warmth and empathy to an otherwise sterile industry.

As a Junior Brand Designer, you will:

Contribute to a team of creatives looking to craft beautiful brand experiences that push Clover's brand identity forward
Help the team evolve the brand's expression and design language (iconography, typography, color, texture, photography, etc.)
Work collaboratively with other designers, writers, project leads, and vendors
Serve as a creative partner and thinker to internal team and supportive role to other designers at times
Support in the execution of multiple projects from concept to completion
Help build a consistent brand experience across multiple touch-points and mediums
Brainstorm and create new ideas for campaigns, ways to reach our customers, and other ways to enrich and expand our brand and our business goals
Work with other teams to bring new ideas, latest trends and visual inspiration for keeping us top-notch and contemporary

you enjoy a collaborative environment. Be able to work together with writers and other designers; Have clear communication with non-designers
you have a human-centric approach to design that is empathetic, friendly, vibrant, and approachable
you have insatiable curiosity and appetite to learn how we can elevate design and brand to support our company goals
you are a self-starter with a love for making things
you are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office
you are a fast learner that can pick up any new tool quickly (i.e. Sketch, Klaviyo, Yammer, Quip, AirTable)

We would love to talk to you if:

you have 1-3 years design experience in a design environment, in-house, agency or other relevant industry
you have a creative portfolio that shows a diversity of experience both in print and online (i.e billboards, direct mail, video, emails, etc.)
you have the ability to demonstrate excellent use of typography, color, grid, scale, balance, and hierarchy
you are mission driven and genuinely passionate for what design and technology can do to help people
you have illustration, photo, or video skills a plus, but not required
you have start-up experience a plus, but not required
