Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

Work independently, or in teams on complex level data gathering, checking, manipulation, analysis, reporting and data quality assurance tasks with minimal supervision.
Client data onboarding from disparate platforms, defining processes for data-extraction, reconciliation of data-processing pipelines, creation of database entity-relationship models, and identification and development of automated mapping rules in computer code such as Groovy, Java, JavaScript, SQL, R, Python in conjunction with other algorithms such as machine learning, and natural language processing methods.
Coordinate with Client facing teams in the design and support of data analysis and custom reporting requirements originating from client requests. Automate as required.
Perform data analysis by means of data interpretation, and execution of advanced database queries using MySQL, Amazon Redshift, Tableau, Excel, R, Python and other database technologies or programming languages as appropriate. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends, patterns or insights in result sets.
Analyze carrier needs and develop analytical models for reporting and business development activities using conventional or visualization tools.
Perform data quality checks or assessment for purposes of enhancing the RiskMatch service in support new prospects or existing clients.
Develop and document rules, integrity and consistency checks.
Troubleshoot and recommend solutions to technical problems.
Qualifications and Experience

Property & Casualty Insurance experience preferred.
Professional/Hands-on experience with SQL, EXCEL, and interactive data visualization tool like Tableau. If you have not written and executed complex SQL queries, please do not apply.
Deep understanding and working knowledge of relational structures, and reporting techniques and practices.
Analyze, code and execute advanced database queries using MySQL, Amazon Redshift, Tableau, Excel, R, Python and other database technologies or programming languages as appropriate.
Knowledge of statistical concepts and, ideally, supervised learning machine-learning algorithms.
Strong communication and problem solving skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work with external clients as required.
Must feel comfortable juggling multiple projects and working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
