Operating as a member of the HotChalk Partnerships Team, the individual in this role will be responsible for prospecting, recruiting and on boarding new channel partners. Our ideal Candidate will be an independent, self-starter who also values collaboration within a team. Possess strong skills in business development, time management, negotiation, and business administration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in influencer related activities to increase campus visibility, leads, and referrals
  • Cultivate and maintaining new relationships with faculty and staff within assigned region
  • Develop strategies that meet the needs and goals of our partner universities
  • Identify, validate and pursue new partnership opportunities with educational institutions
  • Actively reaching out to schools, scheduling presentations, and building relationships
  • Manages territory and implements recruitment strategies to increase prospective student inquiries and enrollments
  • Conduct Conferences and meetings with school and university management
  • Understands and conveys the value of education and the services provided by our partnerships and HotChalk
  • Successfully meets and exceeds metrics and goals, while continuing to thrive to break the set standards
  • Secure referrals and generate leads from all internal and external sources (alumni, students, etc).
  • Participate in on and off campus activities targeted to improving outreach and partnership development
  • Conduct prospecting phone calls and respond to incoming calls necessary to recruit and enroll qualified candidates
  • Conduct cold calls/emails with schools and universities to gain more partnerships
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the Salesforce CRM 

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Associate degree completed
  • Knowledge of high school recruitment and/or sales experience
  • 1-2 years’ prior experience in sales/recruiting
  • Past/current participation in community organizations
  • BA/BS in Business, Education, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Prior selling in consultative needs-based system preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM database systems Preferred
  • Experience in post-secondary education preferred
